Information sought under the Act would be scrutinized and considered if the RTI Application received by the University fulfills the criteria for providing the information sought and is in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Act.

• 1 Address your application to the Public Information Officer (PIO) of USTM.
• 2 Clearly mention the information required and the period it relates to.
• 3 Pay the prescribed fee of Rs. 10 by cash, demand draft, or Indian Postal Order.
• 4 Send the application to the PIO by post or deliver it in person at the university office.
• 5 The PIO is obligated to respond within 30 days of receipt of the application.
