About the Centre

The Centre for Advanced International Studies (CAIS) is USTM's advanced education and research centre dedicated to education, training, research, innovation, and global collaboration to train future policymakers and global leaders. The centre has global collaborations with professors from Oxford, Cambridge, Princeton and UC Berkeley. It is led by its Director, Dr. Rejaul Karim Laskar, whose book on Indian diplomacy (published by Oxford University Press) has been described by former National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon as "a seminal addition to works on Indian diplomacy".
