Including Six Month InternshipEligibility Criteria
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- The maximum age for admission shall be 30 years.
- The minimum educational requirement is passing 12 years of schooling (10+2) recognized by CBSE/ICSE/SSSCE/HSCE or a recognized equivalent examination.
- Medical Fitness: Admission is subject to a satisfactory medical examination report.
G.N.M.
Including Six Month InternshipEligibility Criteria
Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM:
- 10+2 with English, minimum 40% marks from any recognized board (State Open Schools / NIOS also eligible). Science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English, 40% marks in vocational ANM course recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- 10+2 with English, 40% marks in Vocational Stream — Health Care Science from a recognized CBSE/State/Central board.
- Registered ANM with a pass mark.
Admission Process
- Admission of students shall be once a year.
- Students shall be medically fit.
- Minimum age: 17 years as of 31st December of that year.
- Upper age limit is 35 years. For ANM/LHV, there is no age bar.
B.Sc. Nursing
Eight Semesters Including Six Month InternshipAdmission is conducted through the Government of Meghalaya, Directorate of Health Services. Candidates complete an online application, appear for an entrance test, and are selected based on a published merit list.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Between 17 and 35 years as of 31st December 2024.
- Education: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English — minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidates).

- Online Application: Visit www.meghealth.gov.in to apply.
- Application Fee: As per the Government of Meghalaya.
Selection Procedure
Merit-based Common Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by the Director of Health Services (MI), Government of Meghalaya:
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified of counselling through the official website.
- Original documents including age proof, educational certificates and NEET-UG 2025 score card must be presented at counselling.
- Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination at their own expense.
- Final list of selected candidates will be published on the official website.
